BIO:

Lincoln is a cool dude that has been passed around way too many times. He has a strong personality and needs a family that understands that a Doxie with a strong personality is sometimes a challenge but also very rewarding. Lincoln loves to play tug of war with a rope toy and loves to run around with stuffed animal in his mouth. He is tons of fun in the backyard and will jump on your leg to encourage you to chase him around the yard. Lincoln is house trained but will make mistakes if not kept on a regular schedule. He will crate quietly and prefers to sleep on a dog bed on the floor of your room. Lincoln is really a fun guy and loves to sit in your lap and cuddle. He definitely doesn’t act like he is 8 years old.  Lincoln gets along with male and female dogs and would do best in a home with fur brothers and sisters. He needs a family that will spend time with him and help him to understand what is acceptable behavior. The people that released him to us told us lots of bad things about him but when he arrived we saw that he wasn’t any of those things and just needed someone to spend time with him.
