BIO:

My name is Bear and my foster mom says that I am gorgeous! I love her very much and I love all the attention I get from my foster family. I like to play with the other puppies in the house as well as my family. I was flown here by a really nice man with a small plane and I came from Rochester, NY. The flight was a bit scary but once I got to my new foster home I adjusted very quickly and made myself right at home. I am a very well behaved young man both inside the house and outside as well. I do my business outside very well and I have only had a couple of accidents because I had to learn my new routine. My foster mommy says I am a quick learner and that I will adjust to my forever home very well. I can’t wait to start my life with a new forever family that will love me forever.

I love to snuggle at night and I sleep all through the night without bothering anyone. I enjoy activity during the day and lots of walks and exercise. I am very social with other dogs but I am not aggressive at all. I am a well-rounded dachshund with an easy going demeanor. I have a normal, healthy apetite and I am the perfect weight and size. You should see how great I look in my pictures, I am extremely handsome. Please consider adopting me, I just know that you will fall in love with me because as my foster mommy says, “I am a perfect dachshund!”

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
