BIO:

Sweet Lucy is the perfect dog and deserves a great furever home. Even though I primarily foster Dachshunds, I could not help but  bring her home after I heard her story. A homeless man brought her in to a local vet clinic to find help for her. She was scanned for a microchip and she had one. Her family was called but her owner had died and the children refused to take her back. They had even taken her name off her collar before turning her out on the street, hoping she would never be returned. Sadly, Lucy also tested positive for heartworms and had a fatty tumor hanging from her chest. The very kind veterinarian updated her vaccines and removed the tumor for free so I only had to raise money for her heartworm treatment. Lucy completed her treatment in July and is free of heartworms! Lucy is great with all people and cats and dogs. Even though most Beagles are known for their very loud and sometimes annoying barks, Lucy only barks when she is dreaming very hard. She kennels easily and walks well on a leash. Lucy will happily sleep in the bed with you or on a dog bed of her own. She is absolutely beautiful with her milky white body and pretty spotted ears. I love her very much and she is so easy to keep around, but she deserves a family of her own where she cane have the atttention and love she deserves. If you can give Lucy a furever home that will never let her down, please contact me today to talk about adoption.
