BIO:

Sweet Maya was rescued from a Craigslist ad with her companion. She is very happy and gets along well with all people and animals. She loves to go on walks and is very polite while on the leash. Maya loves to cuddle and she is very affectionate. Maya’s previous owners over fed her so she is currently at an unhealthy weight. If you love to walk and you are looking for a sweet pretty girl to add to your family then Maya is the lady for you. Maya would love to be able to sleep in the big bed with you at night. She likes to sleep very close and show you how much she loves you. If Maya sounds like your kind of girl then please consider giving her a furever home!

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
