BIO
Brownie is a tiny 7lb red dachshund. She was surrendered to a high kill shelter because her family said she was “too timid”. Brownie’s first day out of the shelter she spent at an adoption event and let everyone pet her and hold her. She was a little scared but never growled. She was so happy to be loved on the entire time. Brownie came to her foster home already house trained and crate trained. She is shy and will need someone that will be patient and give her time to warm up to them. Brownie loves to curl up on your lap and just snuggle. Please consider giving this sweet baby a furever home. All she wants is some love and stability in her life.

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law. Thank you for supporting a dachshund in need.
If you would like additional information or have any questions, please feel free to contact the foster family directly. They will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
