Holt is a beautiful red dachshund boy.  He is very loving and sweet. We have worked on walking him on a leash and he is doing very good.  He loves to go for walks and do small hikes.  We have taken him hiking and camping with our two other dogs and he really enjoys it. Holt and my one year old lab, Sully, play constantly!!  Holt has learned all of the house rules so he is a quick learner. He just wants to please and be loved.  Holt is a cuddle bug and would do great in a home that would allow him on their laps all of the time.  He loves bath time so no problems with staying clean!  Holt is a wonderful dachshund and would make a great companion for someone’s home!  Please fill out an adoption application today for him!

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
