BIO:

Sam's human Dad died and he was shelter bound, but a good samaritan took him home instead.  She had him neutered and vaccinated and hoped to keep him, but her husband said no!  He then came to FDR to find his furever home.  He is great with older kids cats and dogs and is just a perfect gentleman!  He sleeps in a crate at night by his own choice and is crated while I work during the day.  He is housetrained and only had a few potty accidents during his first week here.  He LOVES to give kisses and cuddle any chance he gets!  He is a tiny little man at 10 pounds and still needs to gain another pound.  He has the biggest eyes that just melt your heart when he looks at you!

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
