BIO:

Gracie is a beautiful brindle pitbull that is full of energy and play. She is extremely affectionate and thinks that she is a lap dog. Gracie is currently working with a trainer and is learning her manners. We hope to get her started on training for her Canine Good Citizen Certificate. She will need to be in continued training when she is adopted to reinforce what she has already learned.

Gracie would do very well in a home with a family and she enjoys the company of other dogs and children too! She needs to have access to an area that she can run and expend her energy. Without enough exercise she may get into mischief. Gracie loves to kiss and hug and is open for snuggles on the sofa or bed whenever given the chance. She also likes to ride in the car and is a wonderful and well behaved passenger. You may just forget she is riding in the back seat because she sits lo quietly. Gracie is learning to walk like a lady when on a leash and is learning not to pull. Gracie is a young dog that needs an active life style and a loving family. She has a wonderful demeanor and deserves a home to match.

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
