BIO:

Ariana is a beautiful little red smooth girl who is a tiny red senior still feisty in her young age.  She loves to romp and play with the others at her foster Moms home.  Although Ariana loves to play, she is a cuddle bug and loves to be on your lap.  She walks great on a leash and would do well in a home that likes to take long slow walks.  Before she came to rescue, she was in a good home but had to be turned over to rescue when they could no longer care for her.  In Ariana’s youth, she tried to escape out of the back yard and got caught in the chain link fence and has scars from that incident. They do not hurt her but they are visible but you hardly notice them once she turns those beautiful eyes towards you.  At this time she is wearing a cone because she was bitten by another dog and is healing.  Araina is very small and would make a great companion for almost any home but a home that is quiet where she can get lots of attention would be her dream home!  Please give this little girl her furever home!

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
