BIO:  

Hi, I'm Roxie a beautiful smooth coat silver dapple. I came from a loving environment and have always been well cared for and loved. Sadly, my Mommy passed away and needed FDR’s help. Now I live with my foster mom, brother Horacio and foster brother Teddy (a doxie mix). We love to play together! I love kisses, hugs, cuddles and especially belly rubs.

In addition to her beautiful coat, Roxie has pretty blue tinge to her eyes. She is friendly and does well with the other dogs in her foster home and respectful kids. She is house trained and sleeps in a crate. Roxie would prefer to stay in the house, she doesn’t like the heat! Roxie would be a great addition to almost any family. She's an easy going girl who loves to cuddle with you or just hangout by your side.

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
