BIO:  

Cinnamon is a beautiful red dachshund girl.   She was rescued from a high kill shelter in North Carolina where she was having a very hard time because she was so scared.  Now that she is in a loving foster home, she is doing much better.

We like to say Cinnamon is a chunky monkey because she is so small but round!  She is housebroken and really loves to go outside and sniff everything.  She would love a home that had a doggie door so she can decide when to go out and come in (just like a dachshund, wants to do things on their time).  She does well with children over the age of 8 years old and would be their couch buddy.  Cinnamon loves to sleep in the big bed or in her own little bed but would not do well in a kennel at all.  She loves to be with her human all of the time and whines when they are not there but will be quiet after a few minutes.  She does well with other dogs but could be a very good only dog.  If you are looking for a cuddle bug, then Cinnamon is your girl.  Please fill out an adoption application for her today to give her the furever home she deserves!
