BIO:
Maggie is a very happy go lucky 2 year old “puppy”. She insists on playing. She has even convinced my 6 year old dachshund to wrestle with her, even though the 6 year old has never been a wrestler. Maggie also LOVES cats, or at least my cat, Jackson, who thinks he is a dog. They play and chase each other all the time. It is quite entertaining. Maggie is so loving and good with young children too. Maggie despises lawn mowers. When the lawn mower comes out, she gets fierce with the barking and showing her teeth. The 8 pound dachshund suddenly thinks she is an 80 pound Great Dane ready to attack that loud monster in her yard.

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law. Thank you for supporting a dachshund in need.
