BIO:   

Darla, is a young girl found along with 25 other dogs dumped on a rural Virginia Road.  FDR took Darla and several others of the dogs into rescue.   She is sweet and doing wonderful in her foster home.  She has mastered the doggy door to get in and out of the back yard.  She plays nicely with the other fosters in the home and will go to her crate when she is tired.    Darla is very loving and just wants to be part of a family and get lots of belly rubs.

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
