BIO:

Hi, we’re Bear and Heidi! My mom and dad had to surrender us because they got really sick.  The last few months, were lonely for us before we joined FDR – we had a great petsitter checking on us a few times a day, but missed being around people.  We’re doing great in our new foster home! Sometimes we still bark a bit when new people come over, but we are getting used to all the company and are barking less and less.

We love to walk on a leash or explore the fenced in yard. We are completely potty trained and never use a crate because we have good manners and don’t chew on any human stuff. Hands down, snuggling on the couch with the kids fostering us is our favorite thing, especially when we both get to snuggle together. We’re so easy to take care of and have so much love to offer! Heidi and I are completely bonded – we need to find a home together.  Please let us come home and snuggle you!

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
