BIO:
Elvis is a lovable guy that needs a home that will include other dogs, doesn’t matter if they are male or female. Elvis came to us (along with Lulu who is available for adoption) as owner surrender’s because the owner’s could no longer care for them. Elvis loves to be a couch or lap potato! But he is very good for his walk. My 2 year old grandson is able to walk him with no problem. He will also fetch a ball a few times too! He is a very low maintenance dog, and since he is 7 years old, he’s pretty laid back.
Elvis has had 4 of his teeth removed, is still eating dry dog food, but we moisten it a little bit with water. He will alert you when someone will pull into your driveway or knocks on your door, but settles quickly once he knows that they are your friends. He will also alert you to any critters in your yard (rabbits, squirrels, etc), so he will either need to be leashed at all times or a fenced-in yard.
Elvis has been very good with our 2 year old grandson who visits every weekend, but I don’t think he would do well in a home with several children. He’s older and I think prefers a more quiet household. Elvis is a “worrier”, but once he figures out the routine and has another dog buddy to be friends with, he doesn’t seem to worry as much!!
Please give Elvis the furever home he deserves and fill out an adoption application today!
