BIO:
Hi!　 My name is Lexi. I am the sweetest, most lovable, mild-mannered, laid back girl you ever met. I also absolutely adore kids. My adoptive parents recently came on hard times and had to move someplace that they couldn’t take me with them. I was a little confused the first week, thinking maybe I had done something wrong, but my foster mommy has lavished me with love, hugs and kisses and has let me know that I am still very special and someone is out there just waiting for me to give me a good home. My temporary home has two dachshunds and I stayed with another really great foster mom for a couple of days and they had kids and a cat and I just loved staying with those kids. I was so happy to see them and I even got to sleep with one of them. That was the greatest.

I love to curl up on the couch next to you and give you little sweet kisses. I enjoy walks and foster mom’s homemade treats. I’m gentle when I take food from her and well behaved at dinner time.

Will you please consider giving me a permanent home?

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to eaccommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
