My Name is: Ralphie

My age is: 1 year 8 months old
I am a: Dachshund
I am: Male
I weigh: 12 pounds
My colors and markings are: Black and Tan
Date of Rabies shot: Jan 2013
Date of DHPP shot: 9-17-2011
Date of Bortdello shot:
Date of Heartworm test: Not sure
Date of Spay/Neuter: 1-24-12
I am current on all my vaccines: Not sure
I am housetrained: Completely (he also taught himself how to use pee pee pads after seeing my other small dogs using the pads)
I am crate trained: Not sure, we don't crate our other dogs so we don't have a crate.
I am considered special needs: Yes, until his skin issue finds a medical resolution.
I would do well in a home with children under the age of 8 years old: Unsure however he does play very well with a 4 year old cousin who he sees about twice a month on sundays. She loves him playing with him.
I enjoy the company of other dogs: I enjoy the company of medium to small dogs, both male and female. I feel that Ralphie wouldn't be as happy if he didn't live with another dog, especially if the adults work and he is left alone at times.
I enjoy the company of cats: (choose one) Ralphie is still trying to figure out what a cat is! As of right now he still chases them from time to time but never tries to hurt them or anything.
My Micro-chip number is: 985 112 000 363 898
I require Heartworm Medication on this day every month: The 28th
My adoption fee is: $325
How to contact my foster home: Amanda Charlestown, MA aferland5369@yahoo.com
BIO: Ralphie is a sweet boy. He is very vocal and talks alot. He loves to sleep in bed with you and LOVES toys! He especially loves to destroy toys (and rip up any paper he can get his paws on). Right now we are working on helping him with his skin issue. The only thing that seems to stop him from chewing himself raw is when his foster mom wraps him in his blanket and holds him; he falls asleep immediately! He's a great boy who has alot of energy and alot of love to give.
