BIO:

Hello efurrybody!  My name is Luke but sometimes I go by Lukie (or Lucas if I’m in trouble).  My foster mommy rescued me from a shelter where I lived for about three weeks after my former owners surrendered me.  I had to have my first birthday in there but I am hoping by my next birthday I will be with my furever family.  I am a smooth haired dachshund mixed with beagle so I’ve got a long body like a dachshund but my legs aren’t too short and my adorable face looks like a beagle.  I love to run around at the park but do well walking on a leash too so an apartment or a house would make a great home for me.  My foster mommy puts me in the crate when she goes to work which I don’t like too much but she gives me a treat to make it a little better.  I get very excited when she comes home and have to go out right away.  I love to sleep in the big bed with her and my fur brother who is a standard dachshund and fur sister who is a mini dachshund.  I play mostly with my brother because we are closer in size and like to be a little rougher than my sister but we don’t hurt each other.  I also love chew toys but the kind without stuffing is best or I will just tear it all out.  I love to eat and am learning that just because I finish before my brother and sister does not mean that I can take it away from them. At night when it is time for bed all three of us dogs and mommy cuddle up close together in the big bed.  We all love to snuggle.  I haven’t been around any little kids or bigger dogs yet but I will be sure to let my foster mom know how I feel about them when I do so she can let any of you potential furever families know!
