BIO:

Hi my name is Franny and I'm a 9 year old black and tan Mini Dachshund.  I'm up-to-date on all my shots and am spayed.  My birthday is November 1, 2003.  I enjoy sleeping in my crate.  When no one is home I'm fine in my crate with an exercise pen around it so I can enjoy my water.  Sometimes I live with my sister's black Labrador retriever and it's a lot of fun.  I’m in great shape because I'm used to daily 2 mile walks.  I eat 1/3 cup of dry food twice daily and enjoy carrots slices as treats.  I get my teeth brushed twice a week, although I really don't enjoy it much.  I am bathed in the kitchen sink monthly.  I have no medical conditions and do not require medication. I don't have separation anxiety.  I am missing my upper left canine.  I've never bitten anybody but if you mess with anyone in my family, I will chase you away.  I bark when I hear a strange noise and am a little mouthy but what do you expect, I'm a Dachshund!!  I have attitude.  I enjoy the company of other dogs as long as they are not aggressive to me.  You can put my food in front of me and take it away quickly without me getting upset.  I've never been around cats, so I'm not sure how I'd behave.  I love to go for long rides in the car. I just go in my little car bed and enjoy the ride.  I'm a great traveler.  I also have no problem being boarded at the kennel.  I would like an older couple or older single person who would just focus on me because I have the best personality of all the Dachshunds I've ever encountered.
