BIO: My name is Hilde and I am a mini-silver dapple, smooth. I can from a neglect situation that left me malnourished and underweight. To top it off I have some pretty yucky scars on my body and a broken tail that healed with a kink. For all that I have been through, I absolutely love people! I am playful, eager to please, sweet and snuggly. I was used to being crated all the time but now I get to sleep in the big bed with my human. I love other dogs and get along well with all of them, large and small! My foster mom says I have a big mouth because I like to bark sometimes when I want attention. I think I’m just being conversational. Besides, I’m great at letting you know when there is someone at the door! We encourage adopters from all over the Greater New England Area and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
