BIO:

My name is Antonio and I am a gorgeous silver dapple! Both of my eyes are a mix of brown and blue which is really pretty. Everyone says that I am a beautiful dog and so sweet and playful. I am approx. 2 years old and I act like a puppy. I love chew toys so it’s best to have a few heavy duty bones and toys that I can gnaw on when I get bored. I am crate trained but I have had a few accidents in the house so my foster mom is working with me. I’m catching on to it really well!

I am from a high-kill shelter in the South and was diagnosed positive for heartworms. The doctor who is making me better says I am young and have a strong heart and am very, very healthy so I should be good as gold when my treatment is completed. My treatment will be completed by the end of September and then I will need to spend a month recovering. I will be able to go to my new furever home around the end October; once my doctor clears me.

I enjoy the company of people more than I do other dogs but I like to play with my foster brothers and sisters on occasion. I would do just fine in a home as an only dog. I haven’t been cat tested so I’m not sure if I would like cats; I might like them a whole lot more than I should, bol! I do however like anything fluffy (including dog beds) because I de-stuff them. My foster mom had to replace three of them because she forgot to put them away and of course I had to show her how talented I am at de-stuffing! I’m really good too! My foster mom says I would be an awesome candidate for dog shaming pictures.

At night, when it’s bed time, I climb up the ramp to the big bed and run over to my foster moms head and nuzzle her neck and kiss her face. She squeals because it tickles but I keep doing it! I love to snuggle as close to her as possible and have slept with my muzzle in her neck all night. She told me I have to stop doing that because she gets a kink in her neck in the morning. It’s okay though because I give her kisses and make it all better. I am a really good boy and I am so loving and sweet but also playful and goofy. I think you should adopt me and make me part of your family so that I can show you how awesome I really am!
