Piper is one of our last remaining Tennessee Brown Dogs!  Piper is so ready for a family; she is growing like a weed and loves, loves, loves people. In fact, she is the one that makes me sad because I know she wants to be with people and seeing her in her outdoor kennel each day breaks my heart. She is active and fun loving and will need to be with a family that is also active. She loves to run and play. But she can also calm herself down quickly and immensely enjoys snuggle time. She gets along with other dogs and cats. She is spayed and almost a year old. Please consider giving Piper a furever home before the weather gets really cold. She would be a wonderful puppy to bring home for the Holidays.

We encourage adopters from all over the Greater New England Area and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
