BIO:
Buddy and Lilly is the most adorable dachshund pair! They are extremely friendly and sociable and get along great with all dogs. Buddy is energetic and outgoing and Lilly is sweet and friendly. Their personalities complement each other in every way.
Buddy enjoys running in the yard and playing with other dogs as well as going for walks and meeting new people and dogs. He is a huge kisser and if given the opportunity will climb on your lap and kiss your face until you can’t breathe. In our book he’s considered a “Power Kisser” because of his rapid ability to kiss you. He is also a huge snuggler and must be allowed to sleep in the “Big Bed” and under the covers. His special place is right next to your midsection and he won’t budge all night long. He LOVES to sleep with his human so he needs to be adopted by someone who is willing to allow him in bed with them every night. Buddy is a red, smooth with a darker overlay. He exudes confidence and has a larger than life personality. He loves everyone and everything!
Lilly is very sweet and loving. She too enjoys walks but is more reserved with new people and dogs. It doesn’t take long for her to warm up and in a matter of minutes she could be your new best friend. Lilly is an itty bitty little girl who has long, red fur with huge puffy sleeves (thus the name Tiny Shakespeare.) Lilly is also a kisser but she is much more gentle and soft with her kisses and her love must be earned. She too enjoys the “Big Bed” but more often than not she can be found at the foot of the bed, on top of the covers. Occasionally she will look to go under the covers, especially if it’s a cold night. Her favorite spot is usually towards the foot of the bed. Because Lilly is a long hair, she requires brushing often. Her fur is very fine and mattes quickly around the “sleeves” so a daily brushing is best. She doesn’t mind being brushed and is very tolerant and well behaved about grooming. She too has a larger than life personality but displays it in a softer way.
This is a fantastic dachshund duo that will bring humor and love to any home. If you think these two would be the perfect addition to your family and home please fill out an adoption application.
