BIO:
Greetings! My name is Danielle and my foster mom says I am the very best girl; very sweet and laid-back. I am one of NY hoarding situation dogs and my foster mom thinks I may have been a mom before because I am so sweet with puppies. I am a bit older and very calm but unfortunately we haven’t figured out how old I am exactly. I am a red, smooth haired girl that is a bit overweight but I have been on a diet and am losing the extra weight. I have the dreamiest doxie eyes and everyone who meets me falls in love. I am wee pad trained, crate trained and learning to be house trained. I am a very smart girl and have caught on quickly to everything I have been taught. I love to sleep in the big bed and snuggle right in for the night. I am a very easy girl to love since I am very sweet and calm and I enjoy all other dogs and people too! I have made friends with some of the senior dachshunds especially the older ones like me that love to relax and snuggle.
I do not know if I would like cats since I don't know what they are but I am good with older respectful children since I am a bit overweight and need to be treated gently as I continue to lose the weight. My foster mom has noticed that I have a funky gait when I walk. We don’t know why and are hoping that the veterinarian will be able to determine what causes it. We don’t believe that it has to do with back problems or IVDD since it is not painful and does not display like IVDD. It could be a birth defect or an old injury that never healed properly. When I go to the vet for my spay appointment the doctor will take x-rays and assess my situation. We will know more soon.
I will make a great companion for that special someone who is looking for an older girl to love and snuggle. Are you my furever home?
