BIO:

This is Roxie but we called her Amelie for awhile until we discovered she responded to Roxie. She actually responds to both names but because she is such a happy-go-lucky girl she would answer to anything if it meant getting attention. She is very energetic and will require some daily exercise whether it be running in a fenced yard or going for a walk. Roxie is sweet as can be and loves human interaction. She gets along great with other dogs of all sizes but she could be an only dog too.

Roxy just wants to please you and love you and so we are looking for a home that can dote on her and give her all the attention she deserves. She is housetrained, crate trained and loves car rides. She would be a great travel companion too! If you would like to adopt Roxie please fill out an adoption application; you won’t regret from one moment because she is just so wonderful!

We encourage adopters from all over Northern California and the Greater New England Area and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $60.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
