BIO:

Maggie May is a smooth red breeder surrender dachshund. She is 8 years young but acts more like a puppy than an adult dog. Maggie May loves attention and will happily spend all her time playing with you and enjoying any attention you throw her way. She is a faithful companion that is also a wonderful watch dog. She is very attuned to strangers and cautious until she knows she can trust. She is extremely sweet and although she likes to protect her family, she wouldn’t hurt a soul.

Maggie May had a dental completed prior to her surrender and unfortunately lost all of her teeth so she is restricted to a soft food diet only. She is completely capable of eating on her own and even enjoys soft treats.

Maggie May loves to snuggle on the bed and occasionally will prefer to snuggle under the covers. Usually she is quite content with a small bed or soft blanket at the end of your bed. Maggie May is a wonderful companion who deserves a wonderful furever home, is that your home?

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
