BIO:

Bernie is a sweet little black and tan boy that had a bad reputation at the shelter.  We were told by the shelter that he would bite and that without rescue, they would have to put him to sleep.  That was not very true.  He was just a scared little boy in the shelter.  When he arrived home he turned into a sweet lover boy who enjoyed the company of other doxies.

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
