BIO:

Morsel is a sweet and loving dog.  He likes to be around his people all the time.  He does whine and cry if left home alone.  He has visited dogs and cats at their house and had no issues.  He has been around kids 3-6 and infants and seems interested in kids, but has shown no aggression. As always, it is recommended that a small child and Morsel be supervised at all time when together.

He knows he is supposed to go potty outside.  He usually starts jumping around and getting anxious to get your attention.   We have taken Morsel into several hotels, on day trips, and on a camping trip and he did pretty well. He sleeps in his crate at night and when we are not at home.

Morsel likes to sleep on the couch.  He likes to have a blanket or towel in his crate.  He has a few dog toys and occasionally plays with them.   Morsel has lived in Nevada and Rhode Island, so he is used to a variety of climates.  Morsel has lived in a house and an apartment.  Morsel is a sweet sweet boy whose greatest wish in life is to have a furever mommy or daddy who will love him as much as he will surely love them!

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
