BIO:

Cricket was dumped at a shelter in North Carolina by the people who were supposed to care for her. She was overweight, greasy, matted, and had large oozing sores on her skin. It was discovered that she also had a large tumor on her side that no one noticed because of her weight problem. FDR was contacted and asked to bring Cricket into our rescue which we gladly did. We drove her back to Rhode Island, bathed her, shaved around her infected sores, clean and bandaged her wounds and gave her love, attention, and exercise. The following weeks proved to be a huge success as Cricket began to grow more and more friendly and happy.

Cricket is in the process of having the non-cancerous tumor removed now that her skin has completely healed and her infections have disappeared. She is full of energy, loves to go for walks, and is extremely playful. I would consider her a high energy dog. Cricket loves all people and gets along well with other dogs. She is now looking for a wonderful furever home that will give her all the love and attention and exercise that she craves. Please consider giving Cricket a  wonderful home.
