Hi!  My name is Zoey.  I am a sweet, loving little girl.  I weighed 9.7 lbs on Friday when I was at the vet.  I am house trained...for the most part.  I am getting used to going potty outside even if it's raining.  I have learned to walk on a leash.  I am very good about sharing "my" toys with the other dogs and even with the cats.  I am NOT food aggressive.  I am good at taking medicine, pills and liquid.  I have been going to work with my foster mom, I am really quiet and sleep under her desk most of the day.  I love riding in the car.  I like to play hard and sleep hard after.  I am happy on your lap, the couch and, of course, in your bed at night.  I'm a good snuggler.  I like laying with the other dogs...they keep me warm.  I hit the ground running in the morning.  I am happy all time!  I would make such a good pet.  I am looking for my furever home, please consider making me part of your family :)

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
