BIO:

Jess is a beautiful 2 year old red dachshund. She was turned into the shelter because her owners could not afford a vet.  Jess is an amazing dog. She is so sweet and adores people. She does well with other dogs as long as she is introduced properly. She does have some jealousy issues at times. Jess is a great little girl and sleeps in her crate at night with no problems although her favorite place to be is under the covers right next to you. She is housebroken as long as she is kept on a schedule.  Some days I work longer and when I do I leave pee pee pads out for her.  She has only used them once, the rest of the time she has held it and just slept on my bed. She will make an excellent pet and give crazy amounts of unconditional love!!   Please consider filling out an application to give Jess a furever home!

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
