Roxy and Roscoe are the sweetest little senior couple! These two sweet babies were rescued by a good Samaritan who found them tied up behind a thrift store in rural South Carolina. Brave little Roscoe was standing over sweet Roxy trying to protect her from the glaring sun. When their rescue angel asked about them the owner of the store said he bought them off Craigslist a week before but was taking them to the pound because they were chasing his cats. The rescuer took them home to feed them and keep them safe. She contacted us to help her and we picked up these two babies. Roxy and Roscoe are pretty reliable in their house training. They will crate quietly while you are gone and love to be snuggled and held. They are a very bonded couple and must go together. They are both very active and like to go on short walks. If you are looking for a quiet but active sweet couple that want to love you for the rest of their days then please consider putting in an application for Roxy and Roscoe.

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
