Hello, my name is Murray (Uncle Murray by my Foster Mommy) I am 12 years old, but I have a birthday coming up really soon and I'm sooo excited. I am a male Dachshund and I weigh around 13#. I'm brown with some black shades. I recently had all of my shots and I am Neutered. I never weewee in the house, (aren't I a good boy?) Oh, I really don't care for closed or tight areas, so when we ride in the car, it's best if you crack the window so I can stick my nose out and please don't put me in one of those small boxes you call a crate. I'm very calm and laid back and don't mind other dogs. My foster mom isn't sure about cats because there are none in my foster home.  I don't have any special needs although I certainly don't mind you helping me up on the bed or couch so I can keep a strong back.

I love a good lap and don't require much care. I like to play just a little, but mostly I'm happy to just lay with my blanket on the chair or the couch and chill. I love my Foster Mommy's homemade dog food, but a good commercial dog food is fine too. I smell much better when you get the good food, not the cheap stuff. You know the old cliche, "what goes in is what comes out". hehehe I also qualify for the "Seniors Loving Seniors" program, so if you enjoy a few short walks throughout the day or just chillin on the couch, I'm your man. Can't wait to meet you.

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
