BIO:

Schnitzel is a sweet little boy who needs a WONDERFUL loving family. He loves to play with squeaky toys and snuggle on the couch while he watches TV. He loves to sleep in the bed with you but can also sleep in his kennel at night (He does both).  He has become quiet the friendly puppy with other dogs, but still unsure of large dogs at first then warms up quickly. He loves going to the park to play with all the other dogs. His leash training is coming along wonderfully and house training is going great as long as you remember he is a puppy with a small bladder.  Puppies take a lot of time to train so it is very important that Schnitzel’s new home will be willing to put in the time to make him a great pet.   If you are interested in giving Schnitzel a furever home, please fill out an adoption application!

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
