My name is Riley and I am a gorgeous long-hair red Standard dachshund. I am very lovey and enjoy a human companion very much. I am very well behaved. I love to snuggle and burrow under the covers and the “big bed” is exactly where I want to be at night when it’s time to go to sleep.
I am brand new in the foster system so my foster mommy is still getting to know my personality but she is so proud of how beautiful I am that she wanted to show me off. Once my foster mom and I get to know each other a little better she will write more. Until then if you think you might like me, please apply to adopt me because I know I will find a furever home that will fall in love with me very quickly.

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
