Hi Everyone, It’s me, RODGER DODGER as my Foster Mom calls me. I am a puppy and I am very playful and only 9 months old. I am totally vetted and neutered (whatever that means). I am such a handsome small brindle boy along with the fact that I am almost totally housebroken, crated trained submissive, and sweet (when I am not being a playful puppy)!! I love attention and being played with, and chasing the others foster dogs in the house. I get along well with other dogs, respecting the pack order here. I am trying to improve on my manners and not be so excited when you pay attention to me…so I need someone to help me with that. I like to chase the ball and am learning to bring it back. It helps me get my daily exercise. Somebody did not want me, I really do not know why since I am such a great little guy, and they dropped me off at a rural fire station and just drove away.The fireman took me in and made sure I was safe and found a nice rescue person to take me.I am a lively, playful, cuddly and willing to please bundle of joy! 　I am searching for my furever home Foster Mom has promised me…do you think I am the one you are yearning for? I will be waiting here to hear from you.

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
