BIO

Dutchess is a very sweet girl that is a bit shy at first but warms up really fast.  This poor baby had a rough start in life.  She was found as a stray by a high kill shelter.  She had a large infected mammary gland that ruptured while being held at the shelter.  She is so sweet, she allowed the vet to do everything to her without a complaint! She is on antibiotics to clear it up and is otherwise very healthy.  She is so sweet, just wants to sit on your lap and be loved on!  Dutchess gets along well with other dogs and doesn’t care about the cat.  She would not do well in a home with small children so we request that she only be placed in a home with children over the age of 13 years old.  She is a new foster in my home so feel free to contact me if you want to know more about her.  Please consider giving Dutchess the furever home she deserves.

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
