BIO:
My name is Angelo for a reason. I was given the name of angel after my foster mom observed my endearing and lovable personality. A short time ago I was found abandoned but in short order Furever Dachshund Rescue saw to it that I visit a vet.
All I remember now is going in and coming home with vaccines, clean teeth and I can no longer create heirs!
I also know my foster mom is getting very attached to my very calm disposition. I have barked only once and that is because I get very excited when it is mealtime and my bowl is filled with wholesome food. The next thing I love to do is curl up on your lap. I can sleep for quite some time never disturbing anyone. My foster mom has placed me in a crate for purposes that refer to housebreaking training. Yes, I may have an accident  of marking but I think that is because no one has ever taken the time to gently instruct me that is not acceptable.
Ideally I would love to be in a home where I become your soulmate and I can receive the attention an Angel deserves. Before you take another look at my picture let me say "I have many years of devotion to you based on my young age of aprox. 1 1/2 years old".

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
