Hi there, my name is Maxie and here is my best buddy Lilly. We’ve been together since we are little puppies and love each other very much. We’re sad these days because our family has had problems and we were not able to follow them. But they promised us we would find a wonderful home and this is why I am writing you this letter! While Lilly is a little shy at first, I am a lover and attention getter. I was told I looked like a teddy bear... We are working on our house training but we are weewee pad trained and also know how to use a yard. We haven’t really understood yet what is the purpose of walking on the leash but, anyhow, we think it’s fun and we enjoy meeting new puppies outside. We’re sweethearts and get along with everyone. Some things we love: Lilly is a happy girl laying down on her comfy pillow most of the time, and I am a happy boy if I get to lay down next to her and chew on her ears! We would really like to stay together forever and find a furever home where we will be loved and were we can be part of the family. Please, consider adopting us, you will not regret it!

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
