BIO:
My name is Bella. I am a wee Wiener. When my foster mom picked me up from the pound I was very frightened and confused. I did not understand why my owners had me just dropped off at night; I tried to be a good dog. My foster mom took me home in a cage with a nice soft blanket in and then she held me for the rest of the day on her lap. I liked that. The next day I went with her to the horse barn. My, are these horses big! But I am very fast and took good care of myself. But I wasn’t feeling too good and didn’t want to eat. A few days later we went on a car trip to an Indian healer lady. She made me feel a lot better about myself. My foster mom now cooks my food which I like a lot! I sleep better at night too. I still need to be taken out a lot, so I don’t forget that a good little dachshund does not do her business in the house, but my foster dad said I have made great progress. There is another Dachshund here and I love to play with her as well as with the Australian Shepherd and his toys. He is really cool and very gentle with me. The horses are funny. Sometimes they take their noses down to me and blow on me, then I run, but they never come after me and play with me. I also learned that chasing chickens is not allowed. I walk on a leash very well and I love riding in the car. I really love it when my human is me all of the time. I really love to sit on your lap and keep you company. Other dogs are nice too. I have met quite a few and I like them all. My foster mom tells me I have double canines, whatever that means. I am looking for a furever home – will you be my human furever?
