BIO:

My name is Raven, I am the runt of a liter of 5, yet I am the biggest and strongest out of us! I think having to fight my way in to nurse made my personality truly shine! I love playing, whether it is with my siblings, my mom or my furuncle or furaunt and foster family! I love to play tug of war and chase things, though I am not so good at bringing them back right now, I am sure with time I will become a great catch and return play mate.
I’m really smart, I have very few accidents inside and even if I do, they are right near the door, so I certainly know where to go I just don’t always seem to make it in time.
I love to cuddle, I think I may be part bird as I absolutely love to cuddle on the shoulders of my foster family, they call me a parrot but you know my name is Raven so there is that possibility of a bird in the blood line!
I am starting to learn about the ‘leash’ and walking on someone else’s terms; so far I don’t enjoy it, but with my love of the outside, I am sure like everything else, in time I will be a pro!

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
