BIO:

Nadine is a lovely little lady who was found in a field as a stray with a couple other dogs. She is very scared at first but warms up quickly and is such a loving girl. She loves to wag her tail to let you know how happy she is. She will follow you around the house  and will lay at your feet or on the couch next to you. She likes to play and chase her toys and bring them back to you. Since she came from an outside situation, Nadine needs to go to a house that has a fenced in back yard, as she will run away if she gets the chance! She likes other dogs and even cuddles with cats- what a sweetie! We are working on crate training: she will sleep in her crate but would much prefer to sleep in bed with you! She is put in her crate when no one is home, but certainly does not enjoy it, but we’re working on it. Nadine has just the saddest eyes you have ever seen, and she is so looking forward to finding her furever home!

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
