BIO:
Buddy is a playful beagle mix. He loves to cuddle and will kiss you to no end. He enjoys the company of other dogs but can be overwhelming to older dogs. He would be better paired with a dog of similar age and energy. Buddy gets along well with children of all ages and enjoys attention from the entire family. Buddy was dumped in a high kill shelter that was full and had no room for him. We saved him in the nick of time. Buddy is just a puppy and we believe that he had been abused. He is learning to walk on a leash but the tugging sensation scares him. He is also easily startled by loud noises and quick movements and tends to run and hide. Buddy is so eager to love and be loved. He warms up very quickly and adjusts to his new environment with ease. Everyone who meets him falls in love with him. We know you will too!

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
