My name is Putzi and I’m just a bundle of energy.  I enjoy running around in the grass and pick up sticks.  I need to be outside a lot to get rid of some of the energy I seem to store up.   I love to play with my foster family and sometimes I play a little rough.  They say it’s because I’m still a puppy.  I love to chew anything and everything so I will need lots of chew toys, please.  I am still little so I’m still learning this thing they call “house training”.  I think it means doing my business outside not inside.  I get the two confused a little though.  I think I will get the hang of it soon.  I sleep in my crate at night and I’m quiet all night through.  I’ve also been so good for my foster mom, I’ve been dry every morning when we get up!!! I will need a home where my new family is home almost all of the time because as a puppy, I need lots of training so I can’t be alone for more than 2 – 3 hours at a time. Please consider taking me into your home and I will keep you very busy!!!!.

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
