Let me introduce myself to you. I am Bogey which is short for Humphrey Bogart. I am a very cute and adorable long haired cream boy. My foster Mom says that I am perfect in every way and just about the cutest little guy she has ever seen and she has nothing bad to say about me. That is because I am fully house trained, love my crate, like the other dogs in the house and even the kitties.  Kids are ok too!!!!.  My “old Mommy and daddy” loved me a lot and really taught me to be a good little boy.  They really did not want to let me go however they had to move from PA to IOWA for Daddy’s job as a Minister and the housing provided does not allow pets. They tried to keep me and my senior brother but in the end was only able to keep one so they talked it over and decided the best thing was to let me go to a new home because I was such a good guy and would adapt better.  So that is my story and I am ready and waiting to go to a new home.  Are you that home if so please apply so I can go to my furever home.

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
