BIO:

I am Gretchen and only 12 weeks old.  Me and my sister were very lucky because we were saved before going into the shelter by the rescue.  My younger sister (by a couple of minutes), Gretel, is also available for adoption.  She is adorable too but clearly not as much as I am.  As you can tell I am the red head and I had an outgoing vivacious personality, extremely playful and wanting to be the life of the party.   I am fully vetted and have been spayed and just waiting for my new home.   I am a puppy so I would need a home that had the time to continue to help me with potty training.  I love to play with other dogs so a home with another dog would be great or a home with someone who is willing to make sure I receive the exercise I need to help me grow.  My mommy was a dachshund and my Daddy was a rambling Man.  If you are interested in adopting me, please apply today to give me a furever home!

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
