Horacio is a beautiful long hair silver dapple.  He has a sister, Roxie, is also available for adoption.  Though they would love to be together they can be placed in separate home as long as they have another dog friend.  The dogs came from a loving environment and have always been well cared for and loved.  Sadly there Mommy passed away and they needed FDR’s help.

Horacio is the long hair dapple boy with an outgoing personality, he loves to play and be in the yard and has to be watched to ensure he does not stay out too long in the heat.   He is house trained and sleeps in a crate with or without his sister.  He also dose well with other dogs and kids.

Looking for a pair then Roxie and Horacio would be awesome.   Looking for just one then either would be perfect.  Please fill out an adoption application today to provide a furever home for one or both of these amazing furbabies!

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
