Hi! I am Pirate! I am a gorgeous boy with great manners! I am great with children and the cats! I love to cuddle, go for walks and just be loved! I am a well behaved boy who understands your commands of ‘no’, ‘walk’, ‘outside’ and ‘bed time’! I am a fan of your bed; I love to snuggle under the covers and help keep you warm and safe! I am a dominant personality, so other alpha males and I do not mix well. I do well with submissive males and females, and I know my manners around the ladies! I am currently in a home with a submissive male and we are buddies!  My foster sibling, who is a female, is the Queen so I know to respect her.  I am completely house trained, no accidents or piddles for me! I love spending time outside in the warm sun and going for walks and car rides are a major plus!

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
