BIO:  

Stuart is currently in his owners home but they need to move him to another furever home.  They are having problems with his barking and sometimes accidents in their home.  Stuart was the largest of a litter of two from a breeder in New York near Poughkeepsie.  He has always lived with a single mom and two little girls ever since.  He has shared the house through moves, roommates, and pets through the years.  He is affectionate, likes walks, and generally gets along well with everyone.  He is persistent and give you a little nudge if you try to ignore him and usually ends up in your lap where he can love on you.  Stuart is a great burgler alarm and will park when he sees people outside but if they come in, he will try to love you!  Although he may be a little overweight, he is healthy.  Stuart is a love bug and wants to be everywhere his human is.  If he is left he will howl for a while but will calm down. He would do great in a home where he has someone home all of the time or a lot of the time.  Stuart is still having housebreaking issues.  He doesn’t do it all of the time and may go days, weeks or months without having an accident but just like a dachshund, he will have one.  This is why a regular potty schedule is extremely important.
