BIO:

Rosco is a sweet, loving, energetic dachshund. He is considered black and tan but his colors are truly unique. He has a dark chocolate coat that almost looks black until he is in the light. His face, ears, and paws are dark chocolate. And he is as sweet as chocolate too! He loves playing with my dogs and giving kisses to my daughter. Rosco has lots of energy and would prefer a house with kids and another dog to play with. The adopter will need to have Rosco secure at all times because he tends to try to escape at any chance he can get. He will run out of a door or under a fence as fast as lightening. You will need to be practically a track star to catch him! With that being said, he loves to throw ball and play fetch. Rosco is house trained but is not fond of a crate. He loves sleeping at your feet in bed and prefers to be blocked in a room if you leave the house rather than crated because he came from a hoarding situation. He does not have food aggression but it is wise to feed him separately just to be safe as he came to the rescue severely underweight. Rosco will make a great addition to any active household.   Please give Rosco the furever home he deserves by completing an adoption application today!

If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
